On Demand: With the On Demand option, candidates complete interviews anytime, anywhere using a webcam, which eliminates scheduling conflicts and allows for greater access to qualified candidates who can take the interview as their schedule permits. The hiring team can then view, evaluate and share interviews at their convenience and compare and contrast candidates side-by-side to collect collaborative team feedback so hiring decisions can be made faster and easier.
Live: HireVue offers live interviewing solutions, both recorded and non-recorded, so COMPANY NAME can decide when recording is necessary or appropriate and when it is not. Whether or not the interview is recorded, the review and collaboration can be captured within the HireVue system so comments and evaluations can be shared amongst the hiring team. If the interview is recorded, it is available to be shared with others for review, comments and collaboration. All sharing within the HireVue system is secure, as is all content within the HireVue system.
This live option offers the capacity for one interviewer webcam and up to three hiring manager webcams to all participate in the interview simultaneously. Some clients will equip conference rooms with a single webcam to allow more than four participants to attend when necessary. The audio portion within the HireVue system can be handled either through the microphone and speakers of the computer or through a conference line, provided by HireVue. Both options can be recorded and are part of the interview record and the sound through either option will sync to the video portion of the interview without any lag or delay.
OpenVue: HireVue OpenVue™ combines the power of social, mobile and video technology, creating a game-changing social interviewing application that allows you to broadcast a pre-configured interview link to millions of candidates – whether through a targeted email campaign, on a job board, through social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and any other sources important to your recruiting strategy. OpenVue allows candidates to easily self-register and take an On Demand interview – anywhere, anytime – even from their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Receive a notification as soon as candidates complete their interview. From here, recruiters and hiring managers enjoy all the same sharing, comparing, scoring and rating activities as with other On Demand interviews – right from their own computer or mobile device. This allows COMPANY NAME to reach passive candidates through social channels, tie the job opportunity to specific messaging and further sell the opportunity to potential candidates. CodeVue: HireVue has released CodeVue, a new set of tools for developer, engineer and IT hiring that enables non-technical users to assess technical talent globally in a way that stands up to the standards of any VP of Engineering. CodeVue offers On Demand interview functionality for the technical hiring process. The HireVue On Demand interview with CodeVue will consist of video and technical response questions and challenges that offer the opportunity to assess and authenticate technical candidates early in the hiring process. Each technical question or challenge will require a candidate to actually write code in any of 13 different programming languages (Java, C, C#, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, Scale and others) to solve technical problems and be followed by a video response question where they describe their solution and thought process. Each question is scored against pre-determined test cases and checked through a sophisticated plagiarism detection process. The outcome of the On Demand interview will help outline how a candidate codes and how they think (what is their logic and approach to coding). This evaluation will be tool in assessing a candidate early in the screening process, allowing COMPANY NAME to authenticate and evaluate a candidate’s qualifications and fit.
