| The aXcess suite is an integrated technical manuals/catalogs, diagnostics and training solution for complex equipment. As an example, data can be extracted as SGML files, tagged according to a specific DTD (Document Type Definition) into EDMan for the purpose of publishing IETP-Ds (Integrated Electronic Technical Publication-Databases), IETP-Ls (Integrated Electronic Technical Publication-Lists, etc. IETPs viewed in our viewers are also directly accessible via our Fault Diagnostic and Desktop Training system. Data captured as part of the LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) process in Eagle or any other 1388-2B compliant LSA application can be extracted to our aXcess EDMan application where alterations and additions could be added such as SGML links and/or descriptive product information. aXcess EDMan is also used to publish this data as IETMs, IETP-Is or IETP-Ds. Documents converted in aXcess legacy can also be exported from aXcess legacy and imported into aXcess EDMan for purposes of data management and publishing in aXcess EDMan. When using aXcess FDS to isolate a fault or a problem, the press of a button will open the IETP at the exact procedure in the IETM or item in the IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue). Similarly, a student busy with an instructional activity in aXcess ITS, will be able to open an IETP at an applicable data module as well as for general reference. |
