This tax content solution enhances the Financials transaction tax functionality to automate the sales and use tax compliance process and ensure that your customer addresses are accurate. Features of this solution include: • Automates Address Validation Functionality when entering customers into Oracle Applications. Simply enter a zip code and the state, county and city information will be automatically populated on the screen. • Automates process designed and maintained by Oracle Corporation to load over 60,000 Vertex sales and use tax rates and taxing jurisdictions directly into Oracle Applications. Both Oracle Order Management and Receivables provide an interface to load tax rates, postal code ranges, and location names from the Vertex data file. • Enhances Oracle Order Management and CRM Applications to provide sales and use tax quotes automatically. • Enhances Oracle Receivables to provide the final sales and use tax calculations during AutoInvoice or Adjustment Transactions. • Vertex provides monthly data updates so that your company can stay current with changing tax rates and zip code boundary changes. • No Oracle Application customizations or changes are required to use this automated solution for sales or use tax processing and address validation! |
