By providing an integrated way to centralize and organize predictive models—and also automate predictive analytics processes—SPSS Predictive Enterprise Services helps you evolve analytical operations beyond ad hoc file systems and inefficient manual updates. If you have SPSS syntax and output files to manage, the SPSS Adapter for Predictive Enterprise Services is available. As with Clementine, the SPSS Adapter integrates with the central repository so that SPSS objects can be shared among users, shared with other applications, and tracked using versioning. SPSS Predictive Enterprise Services includes three predictive analytics management modules: Predictive Enterprise Repository—Centralize analytical assets Predictive Enterprise Manager—Automate and manage analytical processes Predictive Enterprise Administrator—Remotely control IT administration The functionality of these modules helps organizations meet key predictive analytics management goals—from increasing model development productivity and deployment returns to improving compliance and IT administration. |

Predictive Enterprise Repository provides a powerful and flexible tool for safe-guarding analytic content in a central location. Having a centralized location also enables productivity gains since resources can be shared amongst a large number of users. Access via analysts’ tools – Clementine and SPSS Adaptors make using the central repository to store resources as easy as using the file system, again, aiding analyst productivity and ensuring safe-guarding of resources. Other content: third party code (SAS, for example), documentation, reports can be added via simple drag & drop. Security and access control – Predictive Enterprise Services provides powerful and flexible access controls that can restrict the ability of users or groups of users to edit/view content produced by other users or groups. This helps organizations to safe-guard their analytic assets as well as to ensure regulatory compliance. Version control –Version control aids productivity by allowing analysts to refer back to previous versions and helping manage collaboration between multiple analysts, increasing analyst productivity and also regulatory compliance. Audit & tracking –Predictive Enterprise Services tracks all changes made to the repository, along with information about the user and date/time that the change was made. Data organization and search –The centralized repository has a folder based structure for storing content, and this enables advanced search capabilities. These processes may include such activities as: • Re-building and evaluation of multiple models • Regular generation of key analytical reports • Scoring of multiple models within an operational environment Configuration of multi-stage processes –The Predictive Enterprise Manager provides a visual workflow to allow multiple stage processes to be built from different components such as Clementine streams, SPSS syntax, SAS code, command-line executed scripts, etc. Each step can be individually parameterized to tailor the process for execution on analytical or operational systems. This helps increase analyst productivity as well as decreasing IT overheads required to support these processes. Scheduling & notification –Predictive Enterprise Manager allows jobs to be scheduled to run at various different frequencies. Automatic notification allows key individuals or groups to be kept informed of the status of their automated processes. Enterprise level security and administration — SPSS Predictive Enterprise Services was designed with IT needs in mind. Permissions are managed centrally for easy administration and to implement data privacy plans. User groups are managed with LDAP or Active Directory Services and the Predictive Enterprise Repository can be situated on SQL Server, Oracle or IBM DB2 databases. Easy integration with existing systems and processes –Predictive Enterprise Services is designed using a Service Oriented Architecture.
