RtBaseline, a core component of the RtPM platform gathers relevant data from multiple sources and delivers it in a specific context for any role-based user who needs it. RtBaseline is powered by PI, OSIsofts flagship real-time event management and data historian system. A majority of the data contained in RtBaseline comes from plant computer systems, including DCS (distributed control systems), SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition), MES (manufacturing execution systems), LIMS (laboratory information management systems), among others. One of the major uses of the RtBaseline data (PI System plant/production floor data) is to update the relevant records in an ERP/EAM system.
