Solution Profile |
|
| |
Identity management solutions that intend to use stronger means of authentication, such as biometrics, require the person who is requesting the service to be present, in order to capture their physical characteristics (i.e. fingerprint, picture, etc). The applications listed below deliver a complete business process surrounding the capture step: - Application - Allows a person to initiate a process by supplying simple biographic information. - Sponsorship - Allows a person to act as an authority over the applicant to approve the applicant’s request. - Scheduling - Grants a person the ability to schedule an appointment for capture. - Enrollment - Captures the characteristics (biometrics, biographics, and identity documents) of a person during an enrollment process using a variety of peripheral devices. - Uniqueness Checking - Adds a biometric match and a user interface to process the results of a match when it is necessary to guarantee the applicant is unique. - Vetting - Adds functionality for a person to manage an authorization process, sometimes called a background check process to record, review, and approve the applicant for their requested service. - Activation - When used in smart card applications this portlet allows a person to verify the identity of the applicant before giving them their credential. - Admin-Review - Used to manage technical issues which may occur during processing of requests. Applications are configurable to add new process steps and characteristics.
