The principle is that the system will be delivered configured for key processes, such as hiring, to work according to standard industry best practice. The customer will be trained to use the system as delivered to perform their business processes. Where gaps are identified, the business process is challenged, i.e. if the existing process doesn’t fit to best practice then why not? This is the reverse of the common implementation method of finding out what the users do today, what they want and then tailoring the system to match. This is a far more time consuming and expensive approach
Crocus have taken the latest version (9.0) of PeopleSoft HCM and configured it according to standard industry best practice.

For companies that require additional data conversion, Crocus has developed its own accelerator software called AccelerData. This links directly into PeopleSoft via component interfaces through the application server allowing us to map client data into PeopleSoft programmatically through the 'front-end'. Thus ewe have a tool that enables us to convert client data quickly and easily into PeopleSoft using a method that inherently preserves the business validation built into the PeopleSoft system
