  MY INSURANCE CENTER Designed for the property and casualty industry, My Insurance Center (MIC) brings dynamic power to the desktop by providing insurance professionals with real-time information and the tools they need to conduct business quickly and easily. My Insurance Center provides a framework where processing, data and communication come together through a single point of entry with a look and feel that users can personalize to their individual needs and work styles. Cover-Alls MIC Rating and Issuance system along with the Billing, Client and Agency modules are brought together at the presentation layer to display relevant data and access business functionality. The basic framework consists of various windows (portlets) of functionality that can be configured to meet specific needs. The user can easily move from one business transaction to another, automatically receive requested information, query Cover-Alls Customer Insurance Database and more from one flexible and configurable desktop, which does not require setup by a programmer. These portlets include: Announcements/Headlines  This portlet is ideal for broadcast messages such as announcements of new rating plans, incentive plans, etc. Announcements may also provide links to additional pages of information. Activity Center  Business related summary information is pushed to the operator. The type of information is configurable (by operator). Each information link will lead to a detail list screen summarizing the information, with additional links to more information. Selecting one of the message links will take the user to a list screen with the specified information. Management Information  This information may include current premium totals vs. goals, hit ratios, renewal retention, any statistic relating to an agency status (and what must be done to achieve the next level), etc. Shortcuts  Operators may customize this section to include any portal page or link (either Internet or an intranet) they find useful. Transactions  All business functionality is organized under this tab. All links will lead to an underlying system to process the specified request. My Insurance Center maintains a mapping of sign-on user id / password combinations to provide each user a single point-of-entry to all functional modules. Lists  This portlet presents the operator with grouped information by functional area. When selected, each list will present the operator with summary information of the information desired, with additional detail drill down available. Details  Specific Details screens are linked to after the operator selects specific list items. Alerts - Underlying My Insurance Center is a proactive system that scans for and pushes information to the user. Alerts can be event based or news (time) based. With a robust relational database, My Insurance Center provides an enterprise-wide platform for organizing and distributing information.

   Component Description A portal by definition, MIC is designed to bring insurance information together like never before. Proactive in nature, Insurance Professionals are guided by results-oriented workflow and drill-down inquiry. Either monitoring an aspect of the business or taking action on a specific event, MIC delivers information as it happensreal time. The MIC Customer Insurance Database is designed to include all data currently available to you. MIC can report on and display data from any corporate, 3rd party, or MIC Component database. The Insurance Policy Database (IPD), a subset of the Customer Insurance Database, contains real-time quote and policy information with complete transactional history for all lines of business. Data can be reported on by any standard report writer, and with a starter set of over 30 report queries and the ability to create new ones quickly and easily, you can see your book of business in a whole new light. MIC Rating & Issuance The MIC Rating & Issuance component provides full policy life-cycle support for all lines of business. All premium transactions information is made available for the MIC Billing component to process and can be accessed by any other system (either as a data feed or an on-line Web Service). MIC Billing The MIC Billing component provides support for invoicing premium, processing cash, and calculating commissions. MIC Billing will work with premium transactions generated from MIC Rating & Issuance or can accept a standard feed from any other policy administration system. MIC Agency Profile Management MIC Agency Profile Management enables you to organize critical information about your Program Administrators and Agent / Brokers. There are 20 topical categories of information that can be captured for enterprise-wide access. Agency status, licensing information, underwriting authorities and claims can be tracked. MIC Intelligent Connectors Intelligent Connectors integrate MIC component and 3rd party functionality. Current connectors include Workers Compensation and Pyramid Claims, Commercial Auto and VIN Verification. Will be extended to include ODEN, Certificates Now, Etc. MIC Other Components MIC supports a variety of other components like content management, document management, finance, etc. MIC External Links External Links include upload / download capabilities, described above.
