Clay Tablet 2.0 is connectivity software that connects any content management system, including Oracle UCM (and former Stellent versions) to any Translation provider or system. Supported translation systems include SLD's TMS, across Language Server, and Idiom Worldserver, as well as proprietary systems, such as Lionbridges Freeway.
By connecting content systems to translation systems directly, manual translation processes are eliminated. Clay Tablet provides the ability to select content and files from right within UCM and send it for translation automatically. Translation simply becomes another workflow step in UCM.Clay Tablet handles the transport of the content to and from the translation provider, returning translated content directly back into the correct location in the Content System. Further status of the translation projects can be provided right within the CMS as well - elimiating the need to chase project mangers or translation providers for status updates.
