Knowledge Based MDM is a pre-packaged solution that combines Oracle’s MDM applications with Acxiom’s content and CDI technology to create an offering that delivers effective customer data – data that is current, accurate, and comprehensive. This solution leverages Acxiom’s world-class repository of consumer data to deliver actual customer records, prepackaged and integrated, into Oracle’s MDM application. It also provides a foundation to deliver extended data driven master data management capabilities such as data governance, source system management, survivorship, relationship identification, house-holding, privacy management, to name a few.
How it works 1) Multiple sources of customer information within the enterprise are consolidated within the MDM application leveraging Oracle UCM customer hub mastering capabilities 2) Acxiom Knowledge Base Data Quality services covering cleansing, matching, enrichment, and suppression data are invoked based on client requirements 3) Customer data is cleansed, matched and enriched to provide external demographic, household, and psychographic data and sent back into Oracle MDM applications to be leveraged by other operational systems and processes within the enterprise. 4) New or updated customer data sent to the Oracle MDM application trigger a real time call to Acxiom Knowledge Base Data Quality services to provide similar cleaning, matching and enrichment functions in real time.
