Since 1999, Oracle has partnered with D&B to provide data fields specifically to store D&B data, as well as tools to access D&B information for customer, supplier and prospects in both real-time and batch. The integrated applications include Customer Data Hub, Customers Online, Data Librarian, Receivables, Credit Management, Purchasing Intelligence and Accounts Payable.
The current E-Business Suite and Customer Data Hub houses customer and prospect information (including D&B content) in a foundation layer called Trading Community Architecture (TCA). Oracle has built fields in TCA to store and use D&B content and also built a direct connection to D&B’s database of over 107 million records to keep data standardized and up to date. Housing D&B content next to user content allows users a ‘Single Source of Truth’ regarding their trading partners without having to leave the E-Business Suite application environment.
